Jimmy's story: Jimmy is an introvert. He enjoys spending time by himself rather than with family and friends. He gets drained easily in social settings. Because of his introvert traits, he hasn't really had any serious girlfriends. He overthinks things and internalizes people's behaviors and words as well as his own. These are some of the reasons he gets tired so easily when talking to people, and so he doesn't really have a strong bond with anyone. But he's okay with it. Jimmy has learnt to appreciate his own company and groove to his own tune.

But all that changed the day he got an invite on his email inbox. It was an advertisement for a dating site aimed specifically for introverts. It's named Shyne and Shipped. What a dumb name, Jimmy thought. But then he read the perks of the membership and got interested. Wow, the perks really do cater to introverts like him! He has started to think it's getting a bit unhealthy for him to be so solo. Joining a community like this might be a nice change. Well, as long as it doesn't have drama!

And so goes his lowkey adventures with this dating site for introverts....

To his surprise, Jimmy really enjoyed it! He would often use the incognito mode to browse through profiles. He has also attended the Get to Know Me Friday night events whenever he had the time after work - and especially when he felt brave and ready. Those Friday events were really fun... it was anonymously done, and, because of that, he could be more open with his hobbies and opinions.

Jimmy could feel himself being a part of a community and actually ENJOYING it. He wasn't scared of being judged due to the anonymity of most interactions and profile cruising. He also felt safe and protected. "Wow," Jimmy thought. "They really get me."

Then one day, someone caught his eye. Well, to be frank, there had been several females on the site who had caught his eye. Their smile. Their cute outfit. Their impressive hairstyle. So, this one wasn't the first. But, what he meant was that she REALLY caught his eye. Like, a lot of things about her struck a chord in introverted Jimmy. She grabbed his attention and held it. Starting with her hair: pretty, wavy red locks parted in the middle. Her outfit: a black crop top tee with the words Save Me the Drama all caps locked finished with three exclamation marks. And what sealed the deal for him was her preference statement that said: I'm an introvert. That's why I'm here. So, no voice notes. No face time. No emojis. Not until it feels like it. Take it or leave it.

Ah, a firm introvert. The kind of person Jimmy didn't know he needed in his life. Until now. Click.
