Text:

The forest’s well-being is your well-being, too.

Have you ever thought about how a forest can actually be linked to your personal well-being? Yes, it can.

As we know, forests help regulate their surrounding climate by absorbing carbon dioxide, minimizing the negative effects of climate change.

Apart from that, they are also an abundant source of food, wood, and important medicinal plants (e.g. ginseng, plantain).

More importantly, forests are a great source of healing and mental well-being.

Doubtful? Try taking a 30-minute walk through your nearby forest (with proper supervision, of course), and monitor yourself after.

We bet you’ll be feeling so much better, all the more if you do it on the regular.

For several illnesses, we also dare say that forests can actually be part of the remedy you need.

So, with all the goodness they have to offer us, wouldn’t it be sad that so many want them abolished?

That’s where you can make a difference. Click here to know more.
